A fun little thing to do is hide veggies in your guinea pig's cage. You can hide them in cardboard tubes (toilet or paper towel rolls) or on top of their igloo or just anywhere around their cage. I just started doing this with my guinea pigs and they haven't found one of them yet lol, but I'm going to keep trying. Have fun with doing this and please blah blah blah you know what I'm going to say ( if your a first time reader I'd say please comment and ask questions) but please do comment and ask questions it's very important to me. Bye James

  1. Thats pretty funny, I would have thought they were smarter than that.

  2. Hi, James! I enjoyed reading your blog. It brought up memories of when I was a little girl.
My neighbor had five or ten guinea pig cages in his back yard and we loved playing with them, although I was scared to touch them. They ate cabbage grown in the neighbor's garden, as I recall. Keep up your blogging! You might check out Beatrix Potter's stories, too. I can just imagine similar stories you might tell about Slinky. You don't draw, too, do you?

Can you tell I'm an English teacher?

  3. Hi James,

Are your guinea pigs male or female? What are their names? And, how old are they?

I wonder whether they can be taught to do things; worth a try, I think. I'll check your blog frequently to find out what they (and you) have accomplished. Have fun!
